Well let's just say if you trying to hatch a Shiny Squirtle for Example,
here's some Steps:

Step 1:Leave a the Blastiose(USA) with a Ditto(Japanese) in the Day Care:
Day Care Locations:
Diamond/Pearl:Solaceon Town
Platinum:Solaceon Town
Heartgold/Soulsilver:Route 34
Black/White:Route 3
Black 2/White 2:Route 3

Step 2:Get a Egg, How?
Diamond/Pearl:Day Care Checker(Poketch #9) and tell the Old Man.
Platinum:Day Care Checker(Poketch #9) and tell the Old Man.
Heartgold/Soulsilver:From the Old Man on Route 34.
Black/White:From the Old Man in Route 3.
Black 2/White 2:From the Old Man in Route 3.

Step 3:Run Side to Side(Left and Right),and Up and Down.
While you got the egg use a Bicycle and a Pokémon with a Flame Body Ability, Save 4 more space for more eggs.
Diamond/Pearl:Route 10 to Solaceon Town and Route 209(Up and Down).
Platinum:Route 10 to Solaceon Town and Route 209(Up and Down).
Heartgold/Soulsilver:Goldenrod City to Route 34(Up and Down).
Black/White:Route 3(Left and Right)
Black 2/White 2:Route 3(Left and Right)

Step 4:If the Pokémon Egg hatch and if it's not Shiny, just keep hatching until you found the Shiny.

Step 5:If you hatch a Shiny Pokémon, I will say, Congratulations!!!
